By-law Enforcement
North Glengarry's By-law Enforcement is responsible for the investigation and enforcement of all municipal By-laws and Provincial Statutes authorized by North Glengarry Council under the Municipal Act or the Police Services Act.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officers are appointed as Provincial Offence Officers under the Provincial Offences Act and are committed to educating the community regarding by-laws and responsibilities as well as delivering professional enforcement services in a timely and effective manner.
Our Goal
To achieve compliance with the Township's By-laws; firstly, through education and communication and ultimately where required, through enforcement and prosecution.
