Property Taxes in North Glengarry
The Township of North Glengarry is a lower tier municipality in a county goverment. That means the Township collects taxes for 3 uses:
- the Township's needs and service levels
- the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry for various county wide services like policing, land ambulance and social assistance (among others) and
- the province's education levy.
The overal tax rate for North Glengarry single family residences for all 3 levels of government in 2012 is 1.3733 %.

Pre-Authorized Monthly Payments
Residents have the option of signing up for the convenience of monthly pre-authorized payments for both property taxes and water and sewer fees. Just download the form, complete it with your banking information and mail or drop it off to us at the Township offices at 90 Main Street in Alexandria.
