Public Skating
Public Skating, some of it free to families of all ages, is hosted in the Glengarry Sports Palace in Alexandria and the Maxville Complex in Maxville at the days and times below during ice season from September to April each year.
Free skating in Maxville:
Monday: 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Saturday: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Moms and Tots Skating: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Shinny Hockey in Maxville:
Friday: 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
cost: $5.00 (helmets and gloves are mandatory)
When winter arrives outdoor rinks are maintained by dedicated volunteers in Glen Robertson, Dalkeith and on the Mill Pond in Alexandria.
