Island Park backs onto a beautiful lake that is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, small boats and makes a fantastic spot to go fishing for all age groups. Species in the lake include Perch, Sunfish, Northern Pike and Small and Large Mouth Bass. Bring your kids and teach them about nature in a safe and friendly environment designed for fun in the sun and with comfort and convenience in mind.
For the sun worshippers out there, Island Park has a groomed sand beach and many areas throughout the park that make for the perfect tanning spot. Picnic tables are dispersed throughout the majority of the park grounds, and there are many serene shaded locations to kick back and relax.
