Each year a massive catch and release ice fishing derby is held on Mill Pond in Alexandria. Hundreds of anglers try their luck at landing the biggest northern pike from beneath the ice. This popular annual event continues to grow as hardy ice fisherman and fisherwoman compete for cash and prizes.
