Mr. Jamie MacDonald was acclaimed as Mayor on October 22, 2018 after serving many years on Municipal Council as Deputy Mayor and Councillor.

The mayor is the spokesperson for the community and is always open to hearing from residents on issues of importance. Residents wishing to meet with the mayor can simply call and book an appointment. Meetings take place at the Township Office, 3720 County Road 34, R.R. 2, Alexandria.
