Grant Writing Workshop for Not-for-Profit Organizations Coming to North Glengarry

Alexandria, ON –The Township of North Glengarry is pleased to partner with le Centre Culturel les trois p’tits points and Business Sisters to host a Grant Writing Workshop for not-for-profit organizations later this month.

The workshop will be led by Louise Lauzon of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, and is designed to help not-for-profit organizations strengthen their grant applications and increase their chances of securing funding.

Louise Lauzon serves as a Regional Development Advisor with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, supporting communities across Prescott-Russell, Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry, and Cornwall. With extensive experience in public service and community development, Louise plays a key role in connecting local organizations with provincial funding opportunities that foster tourism, cultural initiatives, and community growth.

“We are pleased to offer this learning opportunity to our community,” said Stephanie MacRae, Director of Community Services for the Township of North Glengarry. “Through this collaborated effort, we want to empower local organizations and not-for-profits, by providing them with the tools to be successful in their grant applications and support funding being distributed across North Glengarry.”

The goal of the workshop is to help attendees navigate the complexities of proposal development and funding applications. Whether you're new to grant writing or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers valuable insights and practical tools to help you succeed.

The workshop will take place from 9:00am-12:00pm on Monday, October 27th, 2025 at 213 Main St N, Alexandria, at le Centre Culturel les trois p’tits points and Business Sisters office.
