Property Taxes Payment Schedule

Please be reminded that the Interim tax bills will be sent out at the end of January 2026 and are due on the following dates:

First installment due February 27, 2026

Second installment due April 30, 2026

Two installments of the final tax bills are due on the following dates:

First installment of final due July 31, 2026

Second installment of final due September 29, 2026

Information on the Tax Rates

The Township of North Glengarry is a lower tier municipality in a county government. That means the Township collects taxes for 3 uses:

the Township's needs and service levels
the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry for various county wide services like policing, land ambulance and social assistance (among others) and
the province's education levy.

Payment Methods

Pre-Authorized Payments

Residents have the option of signing up for the convenience of Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) payments for both Property Taxes and Water and Sewer accounts. For Property Taxes, residents may choose either a monthly payment plan or an installment due date plan. For Water and Sewer accounts, PAD payments are available for the amount due on the bill due date only.

Completed PAD forms may be returned by email to accounts@northglengarry.ca, delivered in person at the Township office, or mailed to the Township. A copy of a void cheque or a direct deposit information sheet must be included with the form. Please note that your account must be in good standing to be eligible for the PAD plan.

Online Payment

Type in the payee “North Glengarry”

Three choices are available:
- North Glengarry Taxes (enter your roll number)
- North Glengarry Water and Sewer (enter your account number)
- North Glengarry Miscellaneous – to be used for burning permit, building permits and facility rentals (enter your customer code)
