Committee of Adjustment Meeting Rescheduled
The Committee of Adjustment has appointed August 11th, 2025, at 5:30pm for the purpose of a public hearing, to be held in the Municipal Council Chambers located at 3720 County Road 34, Alexandria, ON, to review the following:
MV-03-2025
At the location of 20340 & 20342 County Road 24 (Laggan-Glenelg Road), Dalkeith, to accommodate the proposed construction of a new attached garage on the North side of an existing single family dwelling unit
MV-04-2025
At the location of 20181 County Road 43, Alexandria, to permit the expansion of a manure storage (heifer/dry cow pack) within the existing heifer/dry cow barn.
MV-05-2025
At the location of 270 & 272 Industrial Boulevard, Alexandria, to comply with Condition No. 4 & 5 of SDG Consent Application No. B-34-25
to be able to sever the existing 5-unit apartment building (270 Industrial Blvd.) from the newly built 4-plex townhouse building (272 Industrial Blvd.) so the buildings can be on two different parcels of land.
MV-06-2025
At the location of Kenyon Concession 1, Part Lots 2 & 3; RP14R2853 Part of Part 2 & Parts 6, 7, 9, to comply with Condition No. 5 of SDG Consent Application No. B-108-24 to be able to sever the portion of land for the creation of a new residential lot as per SDG Official Plan

Z-04-2025
At the location of 1851 Dalkeith Road (County Road 23), Dalkeith, to re-zone the retained portion of Consent Application No. B-55-25 (74.5 acres) of the property from General Agricultural (AG) & Restricted Agricultural to General Agricultural Special Exception (AG-259) to prohibit residential development and; to re-zone the severed portion of Consent Application No. B-55-25 (2.9 acres) from General Agricultural (AG) to General Agricultural Special Exception (AG-260) to prohibit agricultural uses.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Township of North Glengarry on the proposed zoning bylaw amendment, you must make a written request to the Township of North Glengarry, 3720 County Road 34, Alexandria, ON, K0C 1A0, Attention: Jacob Rheaume (Director of Building, By-law & Planning) or by email at jacob@northglengarry.ca.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Township of North Glengarry to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of North Glengarry before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township of North Glengarry before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
