Notice of Committee of Adjustment Meeting

TAKE NOTICE that the Committee of Adjustment has appointed September 14th 2026, at 5:45pm for the purpose of a public hearing, to be held in the Municipal Council Chamber located at 3720 County Road 34, Alexandria, ON to review the following proposed minor variance amendment :

MV-04-2026 at 102 Alexandria Main Street North, Alexandria

To seek relief from the Comprehensive Zoning By-law 39-2000 for the following requirements for the construction of a new addition on the West side of the existing lawyer’s office building: 

- Section 6.1 (2) (e) for a reduction in the Interior Yard (North) Depth setback from the minimum required 3m to the existing 2m to the office new addition building’s foundation and;

- Section 6.1 (2) (f) for a reduction in the Rear Yard (West) Depth setback from the minimum required 6m to the proposed 5m to the office new addition building’s foundation and;

- Section 3.21 (a) (iii) for a reduction in the total number of parking spaces from the required 14 spaces to the proposed 8 spaces for the office building, including the new addition.
