Concerts at the Grotto

Live music. Local spirit. A community tradition.

Founded in 2016, the Grotto Concert Series was created to support the restoration of the historic Alexandria Grotto in Alexandria, Ontario. This beloved summer tradition features free, family-friendly concerts every Wednesday evening in July and August, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Grotto, built in 1954, is a monument dedicated to the miracle at Fatima and serves as a tribute to Mary and a memorial to Glengarry’s fallen soldiers. After years of neglect, the site fell into serious disrepair. In response, local volunteers launched the concert series to raise restoration funds through goodwill donations collected at each performance. Thanks to the generosity of talented musicians who donate their time — and the ongoing support of the community — much of the monument has been restored. But the work continues, and every concert helps bring this meaningful landmark back to life.

Bring your lawn chair, your friends, and your love of music — and be part of a growing summer tradition under the open sky.

Location: 92 Centre Street, Alexandria, ON
