TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Glengarry will hold a public meeting of planning on the 9th day of December, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chamber, located at 3720 County Rd 34 in Alexandria to consider a proposed amendment to the township's Comprehensive Zoning By-Law under Section 34 of the Planning Act.

Six properties to receive heritage designation

ALEXANDRIA, November 15, 2024 –

A combination of six residential, commercial, and ecclesiastical properties were approved by Council to move forward with the heritage designation process. Each property has been identified as being of cultural heritage value and interest within the Township of North Glengarry in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

TAKE NOTICE that as of October 15, 2024, the Council of The Corporation of the Township of North Glengarry has passed by-laws to designate a series of properties under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18, as amended, as properties of cultural heritage value and interest in the Township of North Glengarry in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
