TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of North Glengarry will hold a public meeting of planning on the 29th day of January, 2024 at 5:45 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chamber, located at 3720 County Road 34, Alexandria, to consider a proposed amendment to the Township's Comprehensive Zoning By-law under Section 34 of the Planning Act as amended. 

Alexandria, December 13, 2023 – The Township of North Glengarry would like to acknowledge Government of Canada support, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), for the expansion of the Alexandria Skate Park. The Township was awarded a non-repayable contribution of $275,000 towards the $375,000- project.

The Township of North Glengarry Council proclaimed Circular Economy Month during the Regular Council Meeting of October 10, 2023. 

The Council for the Township of North Glengarry proclaimed that October 17, 2023 be designated the 23rd annual "Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day" in recognition of the education, dedication and commitment of child care workers to children, their families and quality of life of the community.
